Australian winemaker, Jacob's Creek, has recently released the The Johann Shiraz Cabernet 2001 in the U.S. As the flagship of the Heritage Collection, a prestigious range of wines that showcase Jacob's Creek's premiere growing regions, the Johann carries a juicy depth of blueberry and blackcurrant along with notes of spice and oak. Its complexity and richness are owed to hints of black pepper, anise and licorice in the bouquet and the balance of well-structured tannins on the palate.
