Another fantastic summer wine event, The Grape Escape, takes place on June 23 in Sacaramento. This year's event takes place at Raley Field and will include a performance by musician Michael McDonald (an appropriate choice since he made his own wine with Ledson Winery). The tasting brings together 37 wineries from the eight growing regions in the Sacramento area. The event also includes food prepared by local restaurants and a chefs competition that features chefs battling against each other to prepare dishes on the fly.
